On Monday, April 4, Fordham IT Customer Care goes online. This represents a major upgrade to the way requests for technical support are handled for Fordham University.

To access our online support center, login to My.Fordham.edu and click on the Tech Help tab. Tech Help can be accessed with your computer or mobile device, anytime of day or night. Pop-up blockers (see below) must be disabled in order to enter the site. You can still ask for help the way you already do, which is to call us at 718-817-3999 or email at HelpIT@fordham.edu

An Incident Request allows you to get help for problems with your computer, phone, applications, email, Internet access, printer, or anything else you work with everyday.

A Service Request is for a new computer, phone, application, report, account, or anything else you need to do your job. You may also request a change, such as the location of your computer, your phone, and so on.

When you make a request, you’ll be asked some questions about it. Your responses will determine where the request is sent. This process shortens our response time and helps us target your specific needs. You can also login to Tech Help to keep track of your requests and get updates on their progress.

We are thrilled to bring you these improvements.
