Fordham has a new tech help Service Portal! This portal has a modern, updated interface that makes it easy to submit issues and service requests. Access the service portal the same way as before via fordham.edu > My Pages > Tech Help. From the portal homepage, you can quickly get support by selecting the Get Help, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Base buttons.
Get Help – Incident ticket
Request assistance with any technology related issue. An Incident ticket will be created, and our IT staff will reach out to you to help in no time. You can also easily create incidents for others in the same window by selecting their name within the incident form.
Service Catalog – Service Request ticket
Request access to an IT resource or make a purchasing request for hardware or software. Use the search bar to find something specific, or check out the index organized by category to see what is available to you. Select the resource you would like to request, fill out the Service Request form with your information, select Order Now, and your request will be on its way to completion.
- Select Requests in the top menu bar to view open and closed requests.
- You can also select Catalog in the top menu bar to view the Service Catalog.
- If you are requesting multiple services at once, you can add them to your cart, then check out all at once by selecting Cart in the top menu bar, or enter them individually.
Check out IT articles on common tech issues. This area is still under-construction as we work to add more and more articles to the Knowledge Base.
The IT Service Desk is available to help with any questions or concerns. In addition to the Tech Help portal, you can also reach the Service Desk via 718-817-3999 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please contact the Service Desk if you need information about an older ticket.
