Well here we are, at the end of our second week, well, really 10 days online. You, Fordham IT staff, have done a great job. Monday the students come back from Spring Break, and faculty really will crank up online. Watching the numbers, lots of teaching was taking place this past week as well, so people are taking advantage of any time virtually that they can get.

I am sure the ITCC will be swamped Monday and Tuesday as soon as people realize they forgot to set something up. But we are ramping up more staff to help out. Now we really need to focus on student computing and getting a Student Remote Support page up on the web site and helping out students with laptops and Internet access.

We have lots to do, testing software for finals and we need a way to proctor those tests. And graduation will be coming up in about 8 weeks and we need solutions for that, even though an in person graduation will probably be delayed until summer.

I want to thank you for attending our Webinar yesterday, I think we had some great questions, and it was worthwhile. We will do this weekly, and I hope you continue to engage with each other, by Zoom, Skype, Hangouts, WhatsApp or whatever to stay socially engaged. We all need a little distraction from time to time. Remember just because we are not in the office together, is no reason to lose touch with one another. Now, more than ever, we need to interact.
