Do Not Install Microsoft Creators Update

Stop Don't Install Microsoft Creators UpdateThis past April, Microsoft released Creators Update, an application designed to improve your experience of Windows 10. This upgrade had compatibility issues, however, which led Microsoft to remove it from automatic Windows updates. Even so, it’s still available as a manual update. Fordham IT recommends that you do not manually install the Creators Update because it may corrupt your computer and cause you to lose files.

After Microsoft addresses the compatibility issues for Creators Update, we will notify you when the application has been evaluated for University equipment and is safe for you to use with University systems. Your University-owned Windows computer will automatically install the update.
