The Visibility of Feedback for Students When Using Release Conditions
Some instructors choose to use Blackboard’s release conditions feature to selectively release content to some students (and not others), to release content at a certain time, or simply to release content only after a student has completed/viewed a previous piece of course content. Release conditions, therefore, provide custom learning paths for students as they navigate through course content.
Blackboard now allows instructors to set release conditions without impacting their feedback to students.
In the past, when an instructor selected the option to hide content, students could view associated grades but not the feedback. Blackboard has corrected this to ensure that students can always review feedback.

Have feedback or suggestions on features? Blackboard’s parent company Anthology hosts The Idea Exchange. This is a place specifically for Blackboard to track and manage enhancement requests. It allows for things like upvoting ideas and sharing development plans and statuses. You will need to create an account to access the Idea Exchange.
