Google Sites in the Classroom

Google Sites makes it simple for faculty and students to create and publish simple websites. At Fordham, Sites is a great way to share content and engage in collaborative learning. Students and faculty can use Sites to interact and stay up-to-date with course activity.

The app’s user-friendly interface allows teachers to easily create a private virtual classroom where homework and class content are shared and updated. Once a Google site is launched, it’s easy for teachers to create pages for syllabi, document class activities and events, and even share photos from class projects or outings.  Embed documents, spreadsheets, images, and videos into the site so that it becomes the central place for all course and project information.
