Technology News at Fordham

Microsoft Planner is a web-based tool used for collaborative, team-based projects. It’s similar to Trello, Slack, and Asana. Use it to create and manage projects, assign tasks, collaborate with others, and track progress. Get it free with Microsoft Office 365. Learn how to use Microsoft Planner at lynda.com (available with an NYPL library card; anyone who lives, works, OR attends school in NYS can get a library card). Also reference Planner support from Microsoft.

Grammarly, Turnitin, MATLAB are just some of the 100s of FREE academic and administrative applications available to Fordham students, faculty, and staff. Find out what else is available for download on your computer, and/or use on a campus computer, on our Software Resources page.

Grab and Go Laptops for when you need to borrow a laptop for a trip or on campus. To reserve a computer, contact IT Customer Care.

Improved Faculty, Employee, and Student Services Menus in My.Fordham have appeared over the past several months. These changes will become permanent in late 2019 and early 2020, when Banner 9 replaces Banner 8 Self-Service. Schedule for changes in Banner 9.
