Building Community Online (for undergrad students)

This workshop demonstrates how to build community virtually through the use of online platforms. It will feature demonstrations of Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Discord and discuss why you might pick one over the other.

We will also give you ideas for virtual community building events you can hold for your organization including games, movie nights and more. This will be especially helpful for anyone looking for ideas on how to grow community with in a club or. other student organization run by and for students with current covid restrictions.
