Thu, August 14 @ 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Using AI in the Classroom: Enhance, Streamline, Innovate

In today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape, Artificial Intelligence is no longer just a futuristic concept but a powerful collection of tools poised to revolutionize how we learn, teach, and administer. In this fast-paced, 30-minute session, educators, support staff, and IT professionals will gain a practical introduction to leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance learning, streamline tasks, and support innovation in academic and administrative environments.

Participants will explore how various AI tools—ranging from generative AI platforms, which can draft communications, summarize research, and generate ideas, to adaptive learning platforms, intelligent tutoring systems, automated grading tools, and AI for content creation and accessibility—can serve as intelligent assistants, helping troubleshoot issues and support both technical and pedagogical tasks.

What You’ll Learn:

  • A quick overview of how generative AI works (no coding required).
  • Real-world use cases for diverse AI tools in education and IT settings (e.g., creating documentation, lesson plans, FAQs, user guides, personalized learning paths, and efficient assessments).
  • Hands-on examples using these tools to enhance productivity and decision-making, with opportunities for live demonstration and discussion.
  • Ethical guidelines and limitations of AI use in educational and professional contexts.

Why Attend?

  • Unlock Efficiency: Discover how AI can significantly reduce time spent on routine tasks.
  • Boost Creativity: Learn to use AI as a brainstorming partner for new ideas and solutions.
  • Stay Ahead: Gain foundational knowledge in a rapidly growing field that’s reshaping education and work.

Takeaway:

By the end of this session, participants will be equipped with practical strategies to begin using AI tools confidently and responsibly in the classroom to save time, improve the quality of work, and support lifelong learning.
