AI and Sustainability: Tools and Strategies for Impact

The “magic” of modern digital technology – especially cloud computing – often masks its real-world impact in ways that older, more conspicuous technologies didn’t. While these tools and services appear invisible, and therefore inconsequential, to most users, they are creating significant environmental challenges behind the scenes that could have serious future consequences. Artificial intelligence is changing the way we approach these issues of digital sustainability, both creating and offering solutions to some of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges. 

In this workshop, we will explore how technology affects the environment and demonstrate AI’s role in digital sustainability, equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to drive impactful, eco-friendly change. Join us to discover how to create a more sustainable technological future.
