Blackboard MailbagWelcome to the Blackboard Mailbag, where we feature a commonly asked question that has been hitting our mailbox recently: blackboard@fordham.edu. Q:  I’m having a difficult time dragging and dropping items to reorder them.  Is there another way to do this?

A:  Yes!  You can also use keyboard shortcuts to move content.

Click on the Visibility drop-down menu of the item that you want to move.  Then click the tab key until it highlights the up/down arrows and then click on the enter (or return) key.  You will then be able to use the up/down arrow buttons on your keyboard to move the item.

When you have the item in place, click on the enter button and voilà!  The item has been moved.

Tip:  if you want to move an item into a folder, expand the folder first.

It allows for things like upvoting ideas and sharing development plans and statuses. You will need to create an account to access the Idea Exchange.
