We have observed that when using Zoom on Blackboard, students are displayed with the Pacific Time Zone as their current time zone, while faculty members perceive the Eastern Time Zone (US and Canada) as their current time zone. Despite making efforts to modify the time zone, the alteration remains temporary, and the system reverts to the Pacific Time Zone once the Zoom LTI screen is closed.
We have contacted both Blackboard and Zoom for assistance, and we will provide you with an update as soon as we receive a response from them regarding a potential solution.
