Prepare for the new campus network! A new way to access the wireless network will be implemented on the University’s campuses this fall. Antivirus required for access.

What’s your a back-up device for multi-factor authentication? Register to two or more devices for multi-factor authentication (MFA). When your preferred device isn’t available, you’ll have a backup! How to enroll additional devices in MFA.

Can’t travel to a meeting? Make it virtual. WebEx web and video conferencing let you easily meet and collaborate with colleagues anywhere, anytime, on any device. This guide to best practices for using WebEx can help optimize your experience.

Improved video conferencing on campus By mid-August, Cisco video conferencing devices may join WebEx meetings directly on all campuses. The upgrade will take place August 10 and 11. Full access for all faculty and staff will be enabled in the coming weeks.

Blackboard updates its apps For instructors, there’s Blackboard Instructor. For students, the app is simply called Blackboard. View course content, connect with students in discussions, and interact with your class. Also, check out our August Blackboard workshops for faculty!

Wednesday, August 9, 5:00-5:30 p.m. University-owned computers will receive an update for enterprise printing on 

Saturday, August 12 and August 19, 1:00-6:00 a.m. Self-Service Banner and Internet Native Banner undergo maintenance. All systems associated with Banner will be unavailable. The portal, Blackboard, and Fordham Gmail are not affected.
